The Skin Sanctuary: Offering affordable skin care in Makati City

Last August 8, after having a short meeting I visited Skin Sanctuary in San Antonio Village in Makati City to pamper myself. Honestly it was barely 5 months ago since I had my facial and I think I need it badly because of the weather and the stress that goes with it. The dermatologic clinic offers affordable prices in terms of their facial treatments with free consultation from Dr. Coco Tiongson, Skin Sanctuary’s Medical Director and Chief Dermatologist.

The clinic can accommodate four patients simultaneously per treatment until they fully expanded their area to hold more. Unlike other facial care centers, Skin Sanctuary offers a comfortable atmosphere that is similar to a home which was suggested by their elegant exterior that takes away the usual “clinic” feel. As of now they are offering face care but they will expand their service soon. By the way for foursquare and social media addict like me, Skin Sanctuary has free WIFI access for their clients.

I tried their SS Rediscover or Basic Facial (P299) and the SS Refresh or Diamond Peel (P799) with Firming Mask. Both treatments are obviously cheaper compare with other facial care centers located in Metro Manila. Aside from the treatments, the attending dermatologist is trained with basic reflexology/massage to help you relaxed as you wait for the facial mask to dry. They also offer services like SS Reassure or Hypoallergenic Facial (P299), SS Revive or Anti-Aging Facial (P499), Quick Fix Facial (P499), Gentlemen’s Facial (P499), Intense Diamond Peel (P1, 199), Chemical Peel (P599), Back Cleaning (P999) and Cautery Treatments (P999-P1, 999). They also offer procedures like Mesotherapy, Sclerotherapy and Botox injections. They sell their own brand of soap and toner for only P100 each and body and facial cream for P200.

With that kind amount of treatments, I think I would consider having monthly visit and have myself checked. For others facial care is only for women, but sometimes we should consider on taking care of our skin and have ourselves to be pampered.
