From the maker of Blindside, Warner Bros Pictures brings another inspirational movie that tells about friendship and hope that is based from a true story – Dolphin Tale. The movie stars Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Harry Connick, and Nathan Gable. It will be opening soon in all cinemas nationwide and its available in 3D and regular format.
Dolphin Tale follows the rehabilitation of a young double which was found injured and trapped in a crab trap. Winter (name of the dolphin) was brought to the Clearwater Marine Hospital where she earned her name. Without a tail, her chances to survive is small where it takes expertise of a dedicated marine biologist, the ingenuity of a brilliant prosthetics doctor, Dr. Ken McCarthy (Freeman), and the unwavering devotion of a young boy named Sawyer (Gable) to bring about a groundbreaking miracle. This movie aims to spread the message of hope to all viewers especially those who has disabilities, and for those who are normal the message of acceptance and understanding.
The movie was directed by Charles Martin Smith from a screenplay by Karen Janszen and Noam Dromi.
