Power Mac Center is now a certified Apple Authorized Training Center

From an Apple premium reseller and authorized service provider, Power Mac Center is now recognized as the first Apple Authorized Training Center (AATC) here in the Philippines. This new service that PMC offers certification program IT professionals and those from the related fields to establish expertise and better knowledge on digital technology particularly in Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.6. There are also non certification courses for those who just wanted to learn basics or expand their knowledge in using Mac platforms and its applications.

Courses vary from classroom module base discussions or clients can enroll on a 1 on 1 module for more focus. The cost of each course depends on the field of expertise and the length of training. Each classroom or 1 on 1 course is supervised by Apple Certified Trainers (ACT), that undergo extensive 2 year Train the Trainer (T3) program to be fully efficient and knowledgeable about the topic their will be discussing on their “students”.

Up to date there are 16 Apple Certified Trainers (ACT) who will be supervising the classroom or 1 on 1 discussion. Among them are Andrew Lizardo and Marianne Villeza, who are the chief specialists for Apple certification courses and exams offered locally. While for non-certification courses like Photography which uses Aperture, Apple’s professional photography application, Mr. Gunther Deichmann will be heading this course.

Having this kind of certification program here in the Philippines, PMC offers more competitive and easy to the budget options for both Filipinos and foreigners who wanted to learn about the Mac platforms and be certified. With an online based examination, trainees can actually get immediate response of they got passing grade or not. Certificates will be send them via electronic mail and their names will be listed on the official website that contains the name of Apple certified professionals.
