After winning Best Film, Best Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Director and Audience Choice Award, Cinemaya 2011’s Ang Babae sa Septic Tank that stars Eugene Domingo, JM de Guzman, Kean Cipriano and Cai Cortez will be showing on selected cinemas nationwide beginning August 3. The film directed by Marlon Rivera and written by Chris Martinez will be distributed by Star Cinema, the same production company that distributes Rivera andMartinez’s 100 Days
Ang Babae sa Septic Tank, is a comedy independent film that follows the life of tree film makers (de Guzman, Cipriano and Cortez) to produce a movie that has caliber to be included in Oscars. HavingEugeneas the subject for their film, they are hoping to create a great film through her acting prowess but in the end it leads to a laugh trip art that touches certain reality in the Philippine culture and other issues in the society.
The film will showcase the acting talent ofEugeneincluding her comedic power that will leave everyone laughing on their seats. Ang Babae sa Septic Tank was produced by Quantum Films, Martinez-Rivera Films and Straight Shooters Media and will be open in over 40 theaters nationwide including SM Cinemas and Ayala Cinema nationwide beginning August 3.
