Po, the Dragon Warrior is back with the Furious Five – Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey in DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda 2. The 3D animated film directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson will be showing in all cinemas worldwide beginning May 26, also available on IMAX and regular format.

From mastering Kung Fu and becoming The Dragon Warrior, Po (Jack Black) will face a new challenge to fight Lord Shen (Gary Oldman), an Indian Peafowl planning to rule China with his inventions. With the help of Furious Five – Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Crane (David Cross), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu), and Monkey (Jackie Chan) they will fight Lord Shen and let Po discover his inner peace in search for his real identity.

I have to be honest, though it is very expensive – it is worth watching Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D not to mention that it should be on IMAX. The images and visual effects are very glossy and sharp that really appeals to all viewers aside from the kids. As for the storyline, the phasing was fast and it caters to all ages; there’s a right blend of humor, drama and action which everyone will enjoy.

Also features the voices of Jean-Claude Van Damme, James Hong, Victor Garber, Dennis Haysbert and Michelle Yeoh. Kung Fu Panda 2 will be available in 3D, IMAX 3D and regular format in all cinemas worldwide beginning May 26. The animated film was distributed by United International Pictures through Solar Entertainment Corporation.
