>Be part of the global campaign against child hunger as United Nation World Food Programme (WFP) with its global humanitarian partners TNT, Uniliver and DSM brings Walk the World 2011 on May 29. Here in the Philippines it will happen at SM Mall of Asia Ground and aside from the usual 2K walk, there will be a running event divided in three categories (5k Run for Females, 5K Run for Males and 10K Run for a team of 10 members).
Registration fee for the 2k Walk is P250 which includes Walk The World Event t-shirt. The 5K run for both males and females registration fee is P500 which include Walk The World Race Kit, Singlet, and Baller ID. Lastly for the 10K Run that has 10 members per team has a registration fee of P10, 000 that is equivalent to host a feeding activity for one school. The team will receive Walk The World Race Kit, Singlet, Baller ID, Button Pins, Team Plaque.
Funds raised from the program will go to WFP Emergency School Feeding Program in conflict-affected areas of Central Mindanao. So for every step you made as you take part on this campaign you will be filling the cup of a hungry child as you support them with their education. On ground registration includes; ROX Bonifacio High Street in Taguig, Brat Pack branches in Robinson’s Place Manila and Greenbelt 5 Makati, Columbia branches in SM North EDSA and SM Mall of Asia, Res Toe Run branches in Robinson’s Galleria in Pasig City and Gateway Mall in Cubao, The Travel Club branches in Trinoma, Newport Mall and Alabang Town Center, The North Face branches in Building A in Megamall and SM Mall of Asia and Sanuk at The Block in SM North EDSA.
