In line with the expanding menu of Figaro Coffee Company, they introduced Spoon Meals to satisfy the demands of their diners who wanted to have that beyond coffee experience in their café. Spoon Meals is a chicken based meals; Chicken Thyme with Creamy Cheese Sauce and Chicken Ala King, both cost P215 and goes with either brewed coffee, iced coffee or iced tea.
Chicken Thyme with Creamy Cheese Sauce – it is deep fried coated chicken fillet poured with creamy cheese sauce with steamed riced and buttered carrots and corn. The creamy cheese sauce savors the crunchiness of the chicken fillet and the sweetness by mixed corn and carrots. While Thyme doesn’t affects in the taste instead its aroma adds on the flavor to make it more appetizing and delicious.
Chicken Ala King – it is diced marinated chicken in special creamy sauce with vegetables served with buttered corn and carrots and steamed riced. The creaminess of the sauce makes it more appetizing to eat the meal and with the bite size of the chicken make it more easy to eat rather than cutting it into pieces. The corn and carrots compliments with the sweet salty taste of the chicken which everyone will enjoy every spoon full of it.
But choosing between the two, I rather choose Chicken Ala King. Being curry lover like me, Chicken Ala King is near to it but I was hoping to make it more delicious and creamy it must have a melted cheese on top. Both meals are available anytime in all Figaro Coffee Company branches nationwide.
