Sony Music officially launches Allison Tanner, Lara Maigue and Jam Valdes or also known as the group Opera Belles. The all girl group that was classically trained singers was formed by Philippine Opera Company. Allison, Lara and Jam auditioned for the slot in the group and underwent rigid training to develop and improve their voices.

Opera Belles officially signed with Sony Music last 2010 and this year the released their album that contains 11 songs from various singers. The songs they included in their debut album were “Love Story” (Taylor Swift), “The Only Exception” (Paramore), “Breathless” (The Corrs), “Heaven” (Bryan Adams), “Sleeps With Butterflies” (Tori Amos), “Like A Prayer” (Madonna), “Only Hope” (Mandy Moore), “Burn” (Tina Arena), Officially Missing You” (Tamia), “I Turn To You” (Christina Aguilera) and “Sundo” (Imago).

According to Allison, the Opera Belles gave a beautiful interpretation to the eleven songs in their CD as they give it some rhythmic changes and opera overtures to make it new to the ears of their listeners. With their singing techniques it gives a more universal approach that will cater both young and mature audience.

Their album was officially out in the market since March 7 under Sony Music with their carrier single Sundo that was originally performed by Imago.
