If you love Angry Birds on your iPhone, I am sure you will love 20th Century Fox’s Rio that will be showing in all cinemas beginning April 7. The animated film will be available in 3D and regular format. The movie features the voices of Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Leslie Mann, George Lopez, Jemaine Clement, Will.i.am and Jamie Foxx and it was directed by Carlos Saldanha.
Rio follows the journey of Blu (Eisenberg), a rare male Macaw adopted by Linda (Mann) and needs to return to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to reproduce. On the breeding process Blu met Jewel (Hathaway) but instead completing the reproduction both of them was snatched. Being a domesticated pet of Linda, Blu finds difficulty to fly and survive on the wild but with the help of Jewel they will face all the challenges with the help of the rest of the birds they will try to bring back Blu to his owner.
Rio opens on April 7 in all theaters nationwide. Available in 3D and regular format from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.
