Best known as the leading PC and laptop distributor in Metro Manila, PC Gilmore officially opened their newest branch at 1st Street of Gilmore in Quezon City. The latest branch is fully equipped with competent and trained sales and service officers that answers the growing demand of their clients in terms of products and services, especially the small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Since 2001 with an original name of West Avenue Computer Center, PC Gilmore now has branches in West Avenue (Quezon City), VMall Greenhills (San Juan), All Digital Hub (Caloocan City and Lagro) and SM Cubao, they also have Asus stores located in SM North EDSA (Quezon City) and SM Mall of Asia (Pasay City).

PC Gilmore gives opportunity to SMEs, students, and other corporations to understand the product carefully. The concept stores include Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Samsung and Canon; these are the leading manufacturers of desktop, laptop, cameras, printers, electronics and other accessories.

Last March 25, I was fortunate to witness the opening of their store in 1st Street of Gilmore along with presentation of the partners. Being a blogger and social network aficionado, it is very important to have an efficient laptop or desktop..

“PC got sexy,” this is the latest campaign of Samsung and seeing their latest Series 9 Notebook–it really makes you feel sexy with its 12.9 inch width, 0.62-0.64 inch height, 8.9 inch dimension. Yet what’s amazing is that this duralumin cased notebook only weighs 2.88 lbs with battery included. Still want it sexier? Samsung looks elegant in all angles and has a backlit keyboard, brilliant HD LCD, large multi-touch click pad and 128GB solid state drive (SSD) that opens in just three seconds. But of course we should not forget the seven- hour battery lifespan, which is almost three times longer from other notebook computers and it comes with 3 year warranty from Samsung.

Lenovo created ThinkPad and ThinkPad Edge to give full assurance for their clients about data security, especially for those who are always on the go. An IBM product, Lenovo improved and developed their latest product by providing new features that only Lenevo has.. One of which is Rescue and Recovery, which helps users to recover lost and corrupted files; Access Connection option that enables users to switch and save internet or LAN configuration; and ASP feature that is an airbag like element that it controls the process in the laptop especially during the process of saving data-to avoid data corruption.

For SMEs that goes beyond office hours, Asus introduces Sabertooth P67. With the temperature we had here in the Philippines, most of our computer hardware malfunction and thus reducing its performance. Yet Asus’ Sabertooth P67 it protects the system and keeps it cool, even on hot days and environment, because of the Thermal Armor and Thermal Radar that pushes the heat outside the hardware and maintains the coolness inside. With this feature, it helps users to improve their usage of power and prevent their hardware to breakdown.

Lastly, we always want to expand the usability of our desktop and laptop with the use of accessories, this is where Logitech comes in the picture. Logitech is known for its innovative accessories such as keyboards, mice, webcams, remote controls, speakers and many more. This time, the company introduced their latest eco friendly keyboard that uses solar energy and Bluetooth enabled. Called Wireless Solar Keyboard K750, this apparatus uses solar sun power and stores its energy in a cell for future use. Logitech also introduces its latest HD Pro Webcam C910. It has a 10 mega pixel photo resolution with high definition quality–perfect for video calling and recording.

Aside from the quality that PC Gilmore offers to its clients, the company ensures affordability, especially those who avail packages in their website.
