Eight (8) Movies will be opening on December 25 for the 36th Metro Manila Film Festival and vying for the awards like Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor and others. Movies joining the 2010 MMFF includes; Rosario, RPG: Metanioa, Super Inday and the Golden Bibe, Shake Rattle & Roll XII, Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na To!), Dalaw, Father Jejemon, and Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote. All 8 movies will be joining the parade of stars with their floats at the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta in Manila on December 24.

Here is some of the information about the movies that entered the 2010 MMFF:


Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na To!)
Genre: Comedy
Cast: Ai-Ai de las Alas, Marvin Agustin, Nikki Valdez, Carlo Aquino, Alwyn Uytingco, Shaina Magdayao, Serena Dalrymple, Jiro Manio, Eugene Domingo, Cherry Pie Picache and Xyriel Mangabat

Dalaw

All 8 movies will be open on Christmas day and will run for one month or as early as January 3, 2011. The awards night or Gabi ng Parangal will happen on December 26. The criteria on judging for the Best Picture is no longer based from the Box Office status instead it will be judged; 70% artistry, creativity and technical excellence, innovativeness, thematic value and global appeal and 30% from Filipino cultural and/or historical value.
