Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts returns to the big screen in a Columbia Pictures presentation after her film in Valentine’s Day (under Warner Bros Pictures) that is based from Elizabeth Gilbert’s 2006 bestselling novel entitled Eat Pray Love. The romantic drama film is directed by Ryan Murphy and will be shown in all cinemas nationwide beginning October 6, 2010.
Eat Pray Love, follows the journey of Elizabeth “Liz” Gilbert (Roberts) after her painful divorce. She decided to travel accross the world in search for happiness and her self until she met Felipe (Javier Bardem) who will bring big change in her life.
The film will be showing beautiful scenes in New York City (United States), Naples (Italy), Pataudi (India), and Bali (Indonesia) which is part of Liz’ travel across the world including sceneries, buildings culture and foods.
Eat Pray Love also features actors and actresses like Billy Crudup, James Franco, Javier Bardem, Viola Davis, Richard Jenkins and Christine Hakim. The film is produced by Dede Gardner, with a screenplay by Ryan Murphy & Jennifer Salt. Executive producers are Brad Pitt, Stan Wlodkowski, and Jeremy Kleiner. Director of Photography is Robert Richardson, ASC. Production Designer is Bill Groom. Editor is Bradley Buecker. Costume Designer is Michael Dennison with music by Dario Marianelli and with supervision by PJ Bloom.
