It’s been 9 years when I saw the first installment of the Cats and Dogs series and now Warner Bros Pictures brings the sequel of the most anticipated feline and canine action packed film in the big screen beginning August 18, both in 3D and regular format. Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is directed by Brad Payton and starring Chris O’Donnell, and pictures the voices of Christina Applegate, Michael Clarke Duncan, Sean Hayes, James Marsden, Bette Midler, Joe Pantoliano, Neil Patrick Harris, Nick Nolte, and Katt Williams.

The CGI/live action film follows the evil plan of Kitty Galore, originally known as Ivana Clawu a former agent of MEOWS who wants to destroy the relationship of human to dogs and to rule the feline world. In order to stop Kitty Galore cats and dogs must work together as one team. The film also introduces the character of Diggs (James Marsden), a police dog who always end up in cages because of not following the instruction of his handler (Chris O’Donnell), which eventually became one of the agents of D.O.G.

In terms of visuals and graphics, it was perfectly done to create appeal to the younger viewers after all it is intended for the kids and the young at hearts. The thing I like in the film is the way they created a back story for Kitty Galore to give viewers an idea on how Ivana turns bad in the film. It is family/friend themed film so expect moral stories and the whole concept of the movie works for me and I had fun watching it hope it appeals all dogs and cats lovers too.

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore will be showing in all cinemas beginning August 18, available in 3D and regular format. The film is distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.
