ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs Anchor and Correspondent Ricky Carandang resigned from the ANC last Friday (July 9, 2010) , and the management accepted the said resignation.
Speculations begins if Carandang will be President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III head for Communications Department, a newly established department originated from the office of the Press Secretary where PNoy wanted to get more feedback from the Filipinos rather giving press statements and aside from the usual press relations.
Right now there is no announcement yet coming from the Malacanang regarding if Carandang will be joining the Communications Department after his resignation last Friday.
