The phenomenal teen sensation Justin Beiber will be sing the Karate Kid’s theme song entitled “Never Say Never” following his hit single “Baby”. Jaden Smith the son of Will Smith and the lead star of The Karate Kid is Justine Beiber’s vocal back up on the said theme song.
Never Say Never is co-written by Adam Messinger, Nasri Atweh, Thaddis Harrell and Omarr Rambert and produced by the Messengers with vocals produced by Kuk Harrell, with additional rap vocals produced by Omarr Rambert.
The Karate Kid movie is a remake of the 1984 film with the same title that is about a 12 year old kid named Dre Parker (Smith), a popular kid in Detroit forced to transfer to China because of her mother’s career. Being new in the community Dre faces bullying and the trouble of gaining new friends until he met Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) who will be teaching him kung fu to defend himself and join a competition which is part of their agreement.
The Karate Kid will be showing in all theaters nationwide here in the Philippines beginning June 11and distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
