The Filipina Pop Sensation Charice will be joining Glee, a TV series in US that everyone around the world loves to watch. The said confirmation was done by Grace Mendoza in the interview of The Philippine Daily Inquirer (Inquirer.net) last May 23 during the show of Charice in Glorietta for her album launch.
Unlike in the movie of Chipmunks 2 where Charice just played a guest role, in Glee she will be part of the Glee club on its second season. Charice tops the US Billboard Chart with her international single Pyramid.
Glee is now on its 20th episode, near to the finale of season 1. Glee includes stars like Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz, the show is shown on Fox and locally on ETC and JackTV. Glee receives numerous awards; “Best Supporting Actress” (Jane Lynch), “Best Musical or Comedy TV Series”, “Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy TV Series” (Matthew Morrison), “Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy TV Series” (Lea Michele), and “Special Achievement for Outstanding Guest Star” for Kristin Chenoweth. Chris Colfer lost “Best Supporting Actor” to John Lithgow for Dexter, Also in 2009, Glee won “Television Pilot – Comedy” at the Artios Awards, “Outstanding TV Program of the Year” at the AFI Awards, “Favorite New TV Comedy” at the 36th People’s Choice Awards and the latest is the 2010 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series Musical or Comedy.
