It’s the time of the year again where the best of the best of the film industry will be awarded in 2010 Oscars or the 82nd Academy Awards that will be telecast live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, hosted by Actors Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. There will be online live streaming and red carpet photos to be uploaded at the Oscars/Academy Awards official website.
The annual event is presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences o honor and recognizes various professionals in the film industry, including writers, directors and actors who exemplify excellence in their field. Some of the categories are Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Animated Feature, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Foreign Language. It will be a tight fight especially on Best Picture category where the 10 best films of 2009 are nominated: Avatar , The Blind Side, District 9, An Education, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds , Precious: Based on the Novel “Push” by Sapphire, A Serious Man, Up and Up in the Air. I’m sure everyone is excited to know who will be the winners.
The Oscars will be telecast live on March 7 (USA –ABC Channel) and March 8 (Philippines –ABS-CBN/Velvet Channel)
