Last January 26 at the Zirkoh Comedy Bar in Greenhills San Juan, Yehey the leading Filipino online portal with October Eighty Publications Inc., launch the magazine version of STIR.ph on it’s first anniversary. Themed as the Pink Carpet STIR Awards, aside from the launching of the magazine, they also give recognition to the celebrities and artists who created a stir to the showbiz scene last 2009.
Here are the names of the celebrities awarded by STIR.ph:
Dr. Victoria Belo – Stirring Producer of the Year
Ryan Agoncillo – Stirring Host of the Year
Juicy! – Stirring Showbiz Talk Show of the Year
Karylle – Stirring Star of the Year
Christian Bautista – Stirring Artist of the Decade
STIR.ph magazine will be distributed weekly, the first two issues will be free and it’s available on MRT and LRT stations, selected coffee shops, salons and TV stations. The website and the magazine is headed by two respected members of the press, editors Edgar Cruz and Maryo Labad.
STIR.ph (Showbiz Talk + Intriguing Reports) website was launched last February 2009 with Edgar Cruz as the Editor in Chief, the website contains local (Philippines) entertainment news and gossips including blind items, celebrity exclusives and user generated celebrity photos submitted by fans.
