>Carlo J Caparas’s Ang Panday produced by Imus Production and GMA films bring home the major award including the best picture where Senator Bong Revilla Jr (plays Flavio, the late Fernando Poe Jr’s role when he is doing Panday before) was awarded this year’s Best Actor, Philip Salvador as Best Supporting Actor who plays the villain in the movie, Bugoy Villar was awarded as the Best Child Performer, best visual effects, theme song and production design where among the awards given to Panday.

Aside from Ang Panday, Regal Films’s Mano Po 6: A Mother’s Love received the award for Best Actress for the Megastar Sharon Cuneta who failed to join the premiere night of her movie due to the death of her yaya. While Heart Evangelista won Best Supporting Actress, Best Director for Joel Lamangan, Best Screenplay by Roy Iglesias, best musical score and the Gatpuno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award.

• Best Festival Make-up
