Following the success of Filipino artist like Apl.de.Ap, Charice, Arnel Pineda and many more who became successful not only Philippines but in all parts of the world. And now you can follow their foot steps as future singing sensation in MTV Emerge, a platform for fresh and unsigned music talents in the Philippines hoping to be like Apl. de. Ap and others who’s dream of being big in the music industry came true. MTV Emerge is MTV, Jeepney Music, and Department of Tourism collaboration.
Aspiring talents can register and upload their profiles, photos and original music on the MTV Emerge website during the contest submission period and all entries will undergo public voting process. During the public voting judges (Apl.de.Ap, founder of Jeepney Music and Black Eyed Peas member) will also be choosing 7 grand winners who will be taking home 1 year contract each from Jeepney Music, a record label founded by Apl.de.Ap as sign of his love for the Philippines and trust to the Filipino talents. The one year contract includes artist management and promotion, digital distribution of 3 – 6 songs and a strategic marketing plan for the signed artists to break into both the Philippines and international markets and mentor ship under Apl.de.Ap
Seven grand winners who will be selected on November 20 will be performing on November 27 and introduced by Apl.de.Ap on the live event.
