Ninja Assassin is Jeong “Rain” Ji-hoon latest American movie after Speed racer that was shown in 2008. Rain is a South Korean Superstar who do acting, singing, dancing, modeling and ventures with designs and business, Ninja Assassin is his starring role where he plays the role of Raizo, one of the deadliest assassins in the world and trained from the Ozunu Ninja Clan, a clan who trains assassins and was believed to be a myth.
The story revolves to Raizo goal to defeat the clan where he was a member before after the murder of the girl who was his co-member of the group and he once loved. He meet Mika Coretti (played by Naomie Harris), who is a Europol agent who research the story of the Ninja Assassins. Mika became Raizo’s additional responsibility after discovering the truth about the clan and became Raizo’s way to return to his clan and fight his fellow assassins.
Ninja Assassin is an action film where 3/4s of the movie shows fight scenes with crisp sounds that ninja fans would love from the burning walls, to the intense sounds of chains, samurai and shurikens. Every one will be amazed with the details on the fight scenes that ninja fanatics would love especially on the training that Raizo undergo. The story or the talking part is only a quarter of the film where the main story is about vengeance and suffering. If you’re a moviegoer that loves extreme martial arts which means bloody details including human flesh better watch this movie and you will like it a lot.
Ninja Assassin opens in theater nationwide beginning on November 25. The film is directed by James McTeigue, produce by Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers. With Naomie Harris, Rick Yune, Ben Miles and Sho Kosugi as support cast and distributed by Warner Brothers.
