ABS-CBN Publishing pays tribute to our beloved late former president Corazon C. Aquino with a commemorative special entitled Paalam Cory. The magazine features excerpts from the life and times of President Cory, highlighting poignant scenes from her wake and funeral as seen through the lenses of some of the country’s most seasoned professional photographers.
We remember our Tita Cory, the woman in yellow, arms raised in defiance against the dictator, a ray of hope in the midst of People Power. We celebrate her selflessness, her integrity and her unwavering faith in the Lord Almighty which gave her the strength to weather the most trying times and emerge victorious. And we believe in what she stood for, the gentle courage that is her being, and her firm conviction that echoes her husband Ninoy’s resolute stance: “The Filipino is worth dying for.”
