ABC formally announces the new set of celebrities that will compete on the 9th Cycle of their leading dance reality show in the United States of America which is Dancing with the Stars. The 16 contenders vying for the ultimate title as the best star to hit the dance floor for this season were: Mya (Singer), Aaron Carter (Singer) Macy Gray (Singer), Natalie Coughlin (Athlete), Tom Delay (Politician), Joanna Krupa (Model), Kathy Ireland (Actress/Model), Chuck Liddell (UFC fighter), Debi Mazar (Actress), Kelly Osbourne (Singer), Donny Osmond (Actor/Singer), Michael Irvin, Melissa Joan Hart, Louie Vito, Ashley Hamilton, and Mark Dacasos (Chairman of Iron Chef).
Dancing with the Stars Season 9 premieres on September 21 on ABC.
