Last June 9 at the Spotlight Bar in Makati, Asian Food Channel (AFC) officially launched their new show that will give their viewers the taste and the feel of what Spain offers to those who wants to visit the country. The 13 episode entitled Spain on the Road Again serves as a mini tour documentary type of Spain’s tourist destination the foods, restaurants, resorts and parks that travelers would love to visit. The show includes Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow, acclaimed chef Mario Batali, New York Times food columnist Mark Bittman and Spanish actress Claudia Bassols, the 13 episode food and travel series will be shown starting AFC Skycable Channel 58 (Philippines) every Tuesday 9PM.
Pero syempre AFC would not just launch the show by showing its first episode sa mga viewers and partners nito na nasa Spotlight bar, instead AFC let the people feel of what’s life in España by showing their music, dance and food na favorite natin lahat lalo na ako ang Paella which it cooked by Chef Alexandra Cacho of Gaudi that has 2 branches in Makati and Taguig.
And I got chance to taste Chef Alexandra’s Paella with the Lapu Lapu fillet. The main goal of Spain embassy partnering with AFC is for promoting the heritage and culture of Spain that is rich like what we have in the Philippines.
