It reminds me of Friends and Hardy Boys days but ABS-CBN makes it more masa and closer to the hearts of its audience, ABS-CBN partners with the maker of Precious Hearts Romances, its a Filipino romance pocketbook na karaniwang makikita mo sa shelves ng national bookstore with the love birds logo and a perfect past time ng mga mothers natin and older sisters noong college days pa nila.
Its not the usual pocketbook na nababasa natin ngayon na napaka-complicated, this one is lighter and straight to the heart talaga kaya naman kinuha ito ng ABS-CBN under Direk Lauren Dyogi’s team he is the person behind the successful Pinoy Dream Academy, Pinoy Big Brother, Pinoy Fear Factor and Star Circle Quest. Also ABS-CBN is known sa mga nakakakilig shows na talagang pumatok sa mga viewers nito simula noon like Mr. Kupido, Flames, Gimik, Love Spell and Your Song.
Bilang sa unang pasabog ng Abs-CBN and PHR ay pinapakilala nila ang eight guys na susundan ng lahat ang buong story sina Jake Cuenca, John Prats, Rafael Rossell IV, Manuel Chua, Ahron Villena, Joross Gamboa, Guji Lorenzana and Will Devaughn at sila ang bubuo sa unang series ang Bud Brothers. Also part of the series will be Cristine Reyes, Roxanne Guinoo, Mariel Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion.
