Last Sunday, same day when ABS-CBN Channel 2 launches their One Team One Summer Station ID on ASAP 08, the Kapuso network releases their summer station id on SOP with the campaign “Umiinit ang Samahan Kapuso” in line with their Proud to be Kapuso campaign, the theme were sung by Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Jaya and Janno Gibbs both SOP’s lead host.
The Kapuso Station ID’s main theme is a summer caravan which includes artist from GMA and some of their news and public affairs team like Jesicca Soho, Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco. Which is different from ABS-CBN’s station id where the members of news and current affairs are not included except during the Christmas Station ID of the Kapamilya network
