The Katipunan Fun Drive has been a long-standing tradition at Ateneo de Manila Junior High School, allowing students to organize fundraising events that support various communities while honing their leadership and event-planning skills. This year, Class 10 – Rodriguez will host their own version, HORIZON – A Fundraising Concert for Hope, set to take place on April 5 at the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) covered court.
HORIZON will feature performances by renowned OPM artists Adie, Sunkissed Lola, and P-POP girl group Calista, who will bring their signature energy and diverse music to the stage. Calista, one of the headlining acts, will also showcase their latest single, “Alas Dose,” which has been gaining traction across various platforms. The concert aims to attract not only ADMU students but also music fans outside the university.
Led by RJ Nicolas and Mason Hernandez, the students of Grade 10 – Rodriguez have taken on the challenge of organizing this large-scale event with the guidance of their teachers and parents. Their hard work and dedication reflect their commitment to both the music industry and their advocacy. Proceeds from the event will benefit communities in Boso-Boso, Antipolo, and Sapang Palay, Bulacan, which were affected by recent calamities, as well as Jesuit missionaries.
Tickets for HORIZON are available at ₱750 (regular) and ₱1,000 (VIP), which includes an exclusive meet-and-greet with the artists. The concert venue can accommodate up to 2,500 attendees, with food, beverages, and security provided. For more details and updates, check out their Instagram page or contact +639175874347.
