Can’t wait for James Cameron’s AVATAR on December 18!

Yup I’m one of those they called “blessed” after seeing the special screening of James Cameron’s Avatar at IMAX Theater on SM North early this evening (6PM, August 24) and thanks to my friend Jori Zaballa and Ohmski who ask me to join them in watching the 16 minute sneak peak of Avatar despite of my hectic schedule at work.

The movie Avatar will take us on in a world where it will broaden our imagination, the story takes place in a distant moon named Pandora where the only Na’vi, a humanoid race withcan survive in Pandora. The only way they can access Pandora is by making themselves as Na’vi by the process of creating a clone of themselves on a Na’vi form just like an Avatar, our representation on then net in our social networks. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paraplegic war veteran joins the unit who explores Pandora with Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver). Jake whose main goal is to explore Pandora became accidentally hero and leads battle to save Pandora against from the unit who sends him. Jake meets Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) who became his mentor and soon his love interest in the movie.

The movie is set to launch on December 18, 2009 and like others who has seen the sneak peak I’m sure they are all excited seeing James Cameron’s masterpiece after his huge success on Titanic.

Globe Telecom partners with Pelicola.tv Internet TV for the Kada Kwento project

Last July 8 at the Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street Global City Taguig, Globe Telecom officially launches their partnership with Pelicola.tv Internet TV for an additional feature on Globe Telecom’s website and that is Kada Kwento Series. Globe Telecom is known to be as the leading mobile network providers that is close with the youth that offers unlitxt, bente pesos services, and other premium downloads and this time Globe Telecom launches an additional add ons to their site a mini series that is close to the interest of the youth especially to Barkadas. The project Kada Kwento is a project of Globe Telecom in parters of Pelicola.tv Internet TV a group of short film makers in the cyberspace.

Kada Kwento was launch last June 2009 and now it has 3 videos uploaded in Globe Telecom’s website. The first one is the full trailer of Kada Kwento, second is Transit that tells the story of Dani a woman likes to travel and loves adventure, and third one is Pick it tells the story of Pol and Penny, best buds that fights like cats and dogs but in the end of the day the settle things like others.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs – The Story Family, Friends and Being Single

I’m a fan of cartoons it brings back the inner child in me on how I stay awake in the afternoon even though my mother requires me to sleep so that I can grow, still it is a myth for me seeing my younger sister sleeping in the afternoon during her childhood days but nothing happen she is flat 5 and she’s already 20 and teaching high school students. I love the movie, Land Before Time, it’s about young dinosaurs separated from their parents and the hatchlings tries to locate their family and there story goes and ends, and that time its only 2D not like Ice Age 3, its in 3D and you will enjoy watching it on Trinoma Digital 3D Cinema.

Before during the Ice Age 1 and 2, we see the journey of the 5 characters Manny (the Mammoth), Sid (the Sloth) Diego (the Saber tooth), Scrat (the Squirrel) and the two opossums Eddie and Crash, but it’s different right now on the 3rd installment of the Ice Age series. If the 1st series and the second which is Melt Down, it discusses the teamwork of the main characters on the solving the problems they encounter, but on the 3rd series the perspective of the story broadens and its branches on several topics aside from the sub-plot that involves Scrat the acorn obsessed squirrel.

The plot is divided into three, the first one is about Family, where Manny is soon to be expecting father but unfortunately it’s not good news for Sid and Diego. Believing that having a family on his own Sid tries to adopt 3 dinosaur hatchlings that lead to his abduction by the real mother of the dinosaur. But all returns to the primary theme of Ice Age and that is Friendship, where Manny, Diego, Ellie, Eddie and Crash tries to rescue Sid, while on their journey they entered the world of the dinosaurs and met Buck. With the help of Buck they rescued Sid yet instead of joining them to their herd Buck decides to stay on the land of the dinosaurs.

Lastly, the sub-plot of Scrat is the opposite of the main story, it’s about being single and alone, at first Scrat met the flying squirrel Scratte, like him, her main goal is to have the acorn. But there’s an incident that happen where Scratte almost fell to the lava and Scrat save her and they fell in love to each other, but in the height of their love for each other Scrat sees the acorn which is the primary goal in his life like being single and enjoying life without hesitations Scrat grabs the opportunity without thinking what life he left.

The movie is not only fun but it contains scenes that will make you sighs and smile. So check out Ice Age 3: The Dawn of Dinosaurs on Trinoma Digital 3D Cinema now.
