I’m a fan of cartoons it brings back the inner child in me on how I stay awake in the afternoon even though my mother requires me to sleep so that I can grow, still it is a myth for me seeing my younger sister sleeping in the afternoon during her childhood days but nothing happen she is flat 5 and she’s already 20 and teaching high school students. I love the movie, Land Before Time, it’s about young dinosaurs separated from their parents and the hatchlings tries to locate their family and there story goes and ends, and that time its only 2D not like Ice Age 3, its in 3D and you will enjoy watching it on Trinoma Digital 3D Cinema.

Before during the Ice Age 1 and 2, we see the journey of the 5 characters Manny (the Mammoth), Sid (the Sloth) Diego (the Saber tooth), Scrat (the Squirrel) and the two opossums Eddie and Crash, but it’s different right now on the 3rd installment of the Ice Age series. If the 1st series and the second which is Melt Down, it discusses the teamwork of the main characters on the solving the problems they encounter, but on the 3rd series the perspective of the story broadens and its branches on several topics aside from the sub-plot that involves Scrat the acorn obsessed squirrel.

The plot is divided into three, the first one is about Family, where Manny is soon to be expecting father but unfortunately it’s not good news for Sid and Diego. Believing that having a family on his own Sid tries to adopt 3 dinosaur hatchlings that lead to his abduction by the real mother of the dinosaur. But all returns to the primary theme of Ice Age and that is Friendship, where Manny, Diego, Ellie, Eddie and Crash tries to rescue Sid, while on their journey they entered the world of the dinosaurs and met Buck. With the help of Buck they rescued Sid yet instead of joining them to their herd Buck decides to stay on the land of the dinosaurs.

Lastly, the sub-plot of Scrat is the opposite of the main story, it’s about being single and alone, at first Scrat met the flying squirrel Scratte, like him, her main goal is to have the acorn. But there’s an incident that happen where Scratte almost fell to the lava and Scrat save her and they fell in love to each other, but in the height of their love for each other Scrat sees the acorn which is the primary goal in his life like being single and enjoying life without hesitations Scrat grabs the opportunity without thinking what life he left.
